Not loading YouTube or .kar files

V 2.5.4 just downloaded the test version.
Plays .mid but I cant change the key.

Located files on Youtube, but wont play them.
"Cannot open file" then lists song name and youtube address.
Pressing "Continue" shows the song title in the song name box, but nothing plays.

Wont play .kar (midi/karaoke) files.

None of the controls in the upper right work when playing a .mid file. (Key, Tempo, Volume).

Is any of this just the way the trial program works, or is it something else?

BTW: Plays my CDG disks great, and key controls work. That's nice.
Happy to pay my $$ if we can figure these things out. I have 100's of .mid and .kar files I would like to use.

I'm sorry, but key and tempo change is not supported for midi file.

Regarding YouTube, please click Settings (gear icon) in "Play from YouTube" dialog box,
and then click "Update Now" button in Settings dialog box to update
YouTube engine. Please let me know if it helps.

Anything else I can try in the trial version to make this work?

MIDI: I thought it would be easier to do key and temp changes in MIDI than with digital audio.
Key and Temp are both MIDI functions.
It's the reason I started using MIDI for karaoke files.

Unfortunately MIDI support is limited, key and tempo does not work for them.

As of YouTube -- we are working on a solution.
