I have CDG and MP3. Now what?

Post by sowtime444 »

I have an MP3 file without vocals. I have a CDG file with lyrics and timing but no audio. Now what do I do? If I try to add the MP3 to the burn list it pops up a window saying only CDG and BIN files are supported.

You should add CDG file only to the program burn list while MP3 file with soundtrack should reside in the same folder (directory) where CDG file is, and it should have matching filename.

When I do that (and click Burn) I get a pop-up error that says "C:\[blah blah].cdg: Invalid audio format."

The filenames do match. And I can play the cdg/mp3 combo just fine in KaraFun and your Siglos, for example.

Bit rate of the MP3 is 192kbps.

The audio file should be sampled with 44.1 kHz frequency. If the sampling frequency is different, the file needs to be resampled to 44.1 kHz using, for example, Audacity.
