Scrolling message not showing first upcoming singer.

First time trying out this feature, and it looks like it would be good. First thing I noticed is that singer #1 was not showing on the screen.

Scrolling message does not include the singer that is displayed on the announcement screen, maybe this is what you are seeing?

i just had a friend text me saying he is encountering this very issue.

I figured it out. "Next singer introduction" needs to include {Singer} to show the first person.

I think I sent an Email with the other issue I was facing after I figured out what was wrong and it was addressed in the latest release. I wanted to say thank you for looking into it. I tested it out tonight and I found that if the font is too big or there are too many characters in the names the scrolling just stops. I have it set to 30pt and 3 singers and no additional information and it seems to be running smoothly, but I would like to have the next 4 singers listed as well as 34pt font so it's readable from a distance. After that I would love to be able to have text in the other boxes.

I had multiple problems with the scrolling message on the latest version of SKP. At times the message disappeared and at times it just stopped scrolling.

Yes, I am using the 2.4.3.23 release. Glad to see this issue isn't causing crashes at least.

Things got even worse tonight. The scrolling message stopped moving on many occasions or the lyric video would stop leaving the singer with no lyrics.

have you tries the registry script?it has saved me from many gremlins like this over the years.

well.....i just had this happen last night for the first time. restarting SKP fixed it. never happened before
