Power CD+G Burner Problem

I have power cd+g burner 2 and it will not accept mp3 files it will only accept the cdg file which is of no use by itself, Is there anyone here that can explain why?

You just need to add CDG files to a burn list. MP3 files will be automatically included in a disc burning process as long as they are located in the same folder where CDG files are.

That is what I was doing wrong. I used this program a long time ago but I completely forgot how it worked. Thank you for the help.
