... but, how often does the database "sync" with the online portal?
For instance, I was "editing" the available songs in the database (removing certain songs due to being tired of them!) and happened to remove all of a certain artist's catalog. The artist's name, however, still shows up as having songs available. When you click on the name, no songs show up, but I'd like to make certain the name doesn't even show.
I have clicked the "refresh" option on the Local Network page, but does that work when using the internet server?

Siglos uses internal database cache to speed things up. The cache is generated on the program start, and then according to Remote Settings / Local network / On database change settings. You may change it to update automatically or you may Refresh the cache by hand using 'Refresh' button.
