Never had this happen data base dissappeared

Post by Wizards Karaoke »

We have been running Siglos for about a year and a half on several computers. Tonight when I tried to initialize to run my show, I got a message that said that the database is empty. I looked in my karaoke and there is years worth of zip files that have DB backup dates on them. the latest is 07022022. The siglos.db file is missing. When I first lokked the other siglos.db files were also missing but they reappeared after i refreshed the file manager. that would be siglos.db-shm and siglos.db-wal.
Can i restore the database from a backup? how?

Did you try to recover siglos.db database file from the latest ZIP backup archive?

unzip the latest backup into the same folder and it will automatically look at it after restarting SKP.

It didn't work. I unzipped the file and it gave me a replace the old file message. I clicked to confirm replace and it did so in the file manager. It showed the new siglos database in working order and at the right size of112 kb. When I initialized the siglos program, it still gave me the message that the database was empty and would I like to import songs. I have a show in 6 hours. Please help
