I've loaded my soundtrack and lyrics. I click synchronize and as the song progresses, I press the space bar at the beginning of each word as it would be sung.

When I get to the end of a phrase where a few unsung beats follow a word, I wait there, and when the song picks back up, press the space bar to continue.

When exporting the file, this causes the last two words in the line (where I paused) to highlight slowly as if the word/note is being held out. That's not the desired effect.

Is there a tutorial anywhere about how exactly to synchronize? Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just buggy behavior?

While I'm new to this program, I'm a very experienced user in song/video editing, so trying to figure it out.

Please click CTRL key instead of Space key to end synchronization for a given word. You may also correct this using Soundtrack panel on the left. Please see the following link for a detailed instruction:

Thanks for your reply. Pressing CTRL does nothing in the program. It does cause my mouse to show three circles for locating the pointer...

I have already found editing on the timeline to be quite cumbersom.

Did you press CTRL key when in sychronizing mode?

I tried it and it appears to sort of work. However, there is still a strange gap between the two words in the musical phrase, even though I pressed space for each word and ctrl at the end of the second word...

Maybe you should press CTRL at the end of first word as well?

I think I may have discovered the answer, and possibly a bug.

Using the keyboard (spacebar) does advance the highlight of the lyrics. However, using CTRL does not work.

Using the mouse to click seems to work. Really cumbersome, but it works.

How do I request someone look into the CTRL key not working?

Can you please check if using the other CTRL key work (if you were using left one, then please try the right one, or vice versa)?

I will see if there is anything on our side that might be causing the issue.
