I would like to be able to have a slide show of pictures from past performers, trivia, drink specials, etc. to rotate on the inactive screen between songs...

You have the rotating banner that you can put whatever message you want. It will rotate with your next singer if you want it to

You can also make your own video of your karaoke stars with windows movie maker saved as MP4 file that you can put in settings > display > inactive background. You can also select different fade mode between pictures. Drawback I see is you can't use singer announcements and video at same time. This comes in windows Vista but if you have windows 7 or 8 you will have to download it. Enter windows movie maker in browser search
