slideshow does not rotate

The slideshow between songs will not rotate. It picks 1 picture and sticks to it all night. They are just regular jpgs. There are only 4-5 pics at any given time. I select slide "show images from folder:" I have it set to 5 seconds each. What might I be doing wrong? Thanks!

I don't know how to find the version number. I upgraded yesterday. So, whatever the newest is?

I've tried it with and without inactive background. It behaves the same. I took a pic of the settings, but I don't know how to post it.
