You are probably importing ZIP files -- MP3 tag scanning is enabled, Siglos has to unpack every file and read the tags. It is recommended to switch off MP3 tag scanning when importing large amount of ZIP files.

Please try version 1.2.61. The problem occured with files that had CDG part cut off too early (ie. without trailing zeros). It should work fine now.

It looks like the problem with the anti-virus software. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Siglos from our website, also please update your antivirus to the latest version.

Regarding the recording -- indeed skip silence disturbs recording, if you are recording this has to be switched off. And as for the list of songs -- there is a history of songs and singers in Add Singer dialog box. You may click 'Search' button (binoculars next to Singer/Song history in to top right...
