Some tvs have vga ports so that you can connect your laptop to it. If your tv doesn't have a vga port, you should be able to connect your laptop to your tv using this. This cable is for video. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10401&cs_id=1040113&p_id=2509&...

semcoray, This is what I recommend. Buy a LiteOn dvd burner. This is what the forum admin recommended a few years back. I don't think it was Adam but another admin. If you have a desktop, install the LiteOn dvd burner in that pc and install Power CD+G Burner. Install Power CD+G Player Pro on your la...

I was able to get the program to load using linux but when loading a cdg from hard drive, I don't see the text for the song. Oh well, I tried. I assume the same thing would happen using a disc. Basically, when I click play no text appear in the window where the karaoke text should be displayed.

Maybe linux users can run power karaoke and power burner

I recently installed linux on my laptop that used to have windows xp and power karaoke/burner on it. I removed xp and put linux on the entire hard drive. I'm going to see if I can get power karaoke and power burner to run using wine. I used to have this system running as a dual boot system with xp a...

Are people shocked when U do karaoke at a party?

Are people shocked when U do karaoke at a party? I'm generally a quiet person but did karaoke at a xmas party in 2005 for the first time. I had a blast. I had some much fun that I decided to buy a karaoke player. After doing much research, I stumbled upon power player and burner. I'm glad I did beca...

If you have problems playing CDGs using Power CDG Player

After my Pioneer A05 and Sony DVDRWs bit the dust, I decided to try Lite On per the suggestions of many threads. I was about to freak out when a burned CD would not play. After burning a CD with Power CD Burner I ran Power CD Player. I get the error "No CD in drive." I started to get the f...

Just a guess but most likely your dvd drive isn't CDG compatible. It thinks the karaoke cd is just a regular music cd.

I started to post this a while ago. (I don't know if anyone has created a windows NEO+G player) Note: This disc will only play in RSQ NEO+G compatible players. This disc will not play in regular DVD, CD+G, or CD Players. Click here for compatible players. http://www.acekaraoke.com/stblkk04en.html ht...

Which DVD drive is compatible with Powerkaraoke and Siglos?

Hello Adam. When I first ordered the software, tech support would state which dvd drives would work with the software. Do you think you could create a list or have current customers state which DVD drives they have that work with the software? Basically, potential users would know what cd or dvd dri...

Here's a thought. I initially was going to backup all of my CDGs using CDRs but if you have a lot of discs, that a lot of crap to backup. I did this instead. Converted the CDGs to MP3Gs and then backed up the MP3Gs to DVDRs. This way I could have 30+ CDGs and the converted MP3Gs on one DVDR. Better ...

Re: CAVS Super CD+G

Is it possible to take the CAVS Super CD+G and convert it back to CD+G? CAVS' windows software is expensive in my opinion. These programs say they can convert Super CDG to CDG/MP3G, etc. 1. CDGFix 3.x Super $70. http://www.cdgfix.com or 2. Roxbox Super CDG Converter $39 http://www.kjamp.com/RBKP03....
