Re: Cross Fade
Possible... But unlikely. With generally only one soundcard per computer to work with, you can't play two things at once well... Just like how DJ's typically don't use controllers with an onboard sound card. I disagree. Virtual DJ does this with no problem- it uses multiple "decks" that c...

Re: MP4 support for slideshow
you're too far left for the slideshow. it is the one in the center that i am talking about. My mistake, I thought you were asking about using MP4s, which is why I made the suggestion and offered to show you the sample of mine. Now, I (think) I understand that you're wanting to have your MP4 be part...

Re: MP4 support for slideshow
yes, i use a video as the lyric background, i was looking to have it in the slideshow while not playing karaoke Oh, it does that, too. Just select your file- the option is on the Settings/Display page. Untitled-1.jpg I do a custom one for every show that lasts about five minutes. It has birthdays, ...

Re: MP4 support for slideshow
Unless I'm missing something, you can certainly use video behind the songs (instead of a slideshow). It's under "Display" setting. (It just has to be the correct format).

Re: MP4 support for slideshow
If you have the ability, save it to a supported format. If you don't personally have a program that will do that, whoever created it for you should be able to do it. Failing that, send me a message and I will help you out.

Re: Multiple Sites for connectkaraoke
Assuming you are running separate licenses, you also need separate accounts for the KJ login on connect karaoke to generate different API's for each system. I would like to see multiple API's for a single KJ login as we also have people working for us and I'd rather be in charge of printing their Q...

Re: Multiple Sites for connectkaraoke
I think your predicament is solved by purchasing a separate license for each computer running the program. As far as I've ever known, SKP is only supposed to be used on one PC at a time, even if there's nothing in their code that blocks multiple installations- though not having an option for multipl...

Re: "Inactive Background" Options?
Turns out my "video" playing between songs is quite effective advertising for the venue- and just about anything else- plus, when a song ends, SKP picks up the video right where it left off (instead of it restarting). The way I've constructed mine, it's a "loop". If anyone's inte...

Re: PDF Export Controls
Hornet is correct- that's the "tick box" I was referring to.
And thank you, Piotr- that would be great.

PDF Export Controls
Would there be a way to integrate a control to export only the songs that show up in our online list? For instance, songs with multiple files where I have the "Show in remote client" unchecked so there's only one version listed? If this is something we can already do, apologies- evidently ...

Re: Easy Preset buttons for CD+G settings
That's an interesting idea. Too bad the manufacturers never used a "standard" color for lyrics, because I run into the same kind of thing- some songs, the "slide" will look great, and- on others- the words get lost. If I had the time (or the patience), I'd probably convert all of...

Re: Skipping Singers
I just noticed what happened when one of my singers was skipped. I pressed "go to next" while the song didn't have enough time left to fade out. So it jumped to the next singer, then immediately removed their song and jumped the the singer after that. Just wondering if that's everyone els...
Re: Wifi
If you're able, use your phone as a hotspot for your host PC only . Through experience, I've found that "house" Wi-Fi will generally be slow as all get out- whereas my phone's data service offers good speeds and allows everything to work smoothly. I also advise customers to use their data ...
