You can do it if you own a video editing program, but I'm not sure you could if you're wanting only CD+G. If you own Power Video Karaoke, just make 2 different files, one with a single voicing and one with a duet style voicing. Do not capture the music file with either of the files. Go to the video ...

I have to jump in here and say that my PVK is working GREAT! I have made 7 karaoke songs on video and burned them to DVD with no crashes, good quality, etc. The moderators have answered many questions for me about how to get the software going on my machine. I still have a video card conflict, and I...

Thank you so much! I did the Direct X thing, and it still didn't work. I ran the DXDiag Tool, and it said I had no problems. I ran an update of my video driver from the device manager, and it still didn't work. So I did the other thing you suggested. The Mary sample worked. I tried a looped video be...

I think I have the lastest, but I will try again tonight. It could have gotten corrupted. Could my anti-virus/firewall programs be a problem? I usually disable them and unplug the cable so that no popup warnings can occur. Also, I go into the task manager and stop about 14 programs running under my ...

Where's the video? Even though I checked the video file, only the black screen background came out in the capture. Also, some weird window called Active Movie Window (which I have never seen before) pops up, with the movie I selected inside it. However, when the resulting combined file is played, th...

I'm still crashing pretty regularly. I have one almost perfect video, but I have literally trashed dozens upon dozens. I also still have a weird size in any mpeg2--very long and narrow, not the correct size at all, even though I select 720 x 480--it doesn't come out to this. I also upgraded my compu...

My PVK only crashes about 25% of the time now, but things aren't quite right. Somethings were better after the upgrade, but I still don't have a complete video without jumping and flashing pictures, (mostly at the beginning and the end). I noticed the music messes up the capturing a bit, especially ...

Sorry, this was my post, but I didn't realize I wasn't logged in. I also have Windows XP Home. My computer is a 2.80 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 with 512 RAM and a nVidia video card with 256MB. It crashes 80 -85% of the times I use it. I can only make karaoke with plain color backgrounds and no border...

Crashes of PVK
I cannot use the Power Video Karaoke program due to multiple crashes. I have 512MB RAM. Does this program require more than that for a 3 minute song? I have dozens of gigs of available hard drive space, although I've noticed that PVK uses my C: drive for temp files during creation of video. I only h...
