Downloaded the new version. It runs like a dream. Thank you much for sorting this out so quickly for us. You guys are legends!

Also thank you Fensom1 and everyone else that posted. It was so good to know it wasn't just my incompetents this time.

To the developers, I often get great comments about my system and more and more operators are buying your awesome software. Even Jen one of our club members bought a package late last year. Nice work guys!

Thanks so much to the developers for getting this fixed! In the decade plus I've been using the program, they have always been helpful when issues arise. Much appreciated.

Hey Adam, it's happening to me too on both computers. first time in 14 years I've had to cancel a show. it is so weird to just.....happen.

Since .net framework updated, I'm going to look into that when I get home from work.

Yeah, I'm going nuts with this. I ran a show Saturday night, and went to look at some files this afternoon and discovered I'm having the same &*(%ed problem! And I'm running the latest version of the software- but don't have any previous versions of it to roll back to (and yeah- I want to kick myself for not having any of them, I used to keep the previous three but evidently stopped doing that when I changed laptops three years ago and didn't realize it).
I am freaking desperate to get this fixed ASAP so I don't have to cancel my next show.

Hi Fensom1, I'm the user that has the same problem as you. I was using a windows 10 machine. I have tried downloading that version to a Windows 11 machine still has the same problem.

I too wonder about Win updates. Seems strange that more people aren't reporting the bug.

I still have an older version 2.3.7.4 working fine on my backup machine with the same Windows 10 updates.

Hopefully someone can help us with this soon. I don't want to try rolling back my updates, but will be left with no option soon.

Okay, I have a possible lead. Does Siglos use the .Net framework? Windows update apparently updated it yesterday, around the same time Siglos started crashing.

February 8, 2022-KB5009469 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 11

still v2.3.7.17. I downloaded and installed and it still didn't help.

Perhaps a windows update has done something?

I've just tried to install the latest version once again. It seems version 2.3.7.17 is the latest version.

I have the same problem as the original author. I too have only been working on fill in playlist over the last week. I too have tried deleting playlist in case this is the cause. I've spent ages trying to get this to work ready for a gig in two days. Everything was going great until yesterday.

I have noticed when I remove old program ready for the next install. My setting are saved and the fresh install doesn't ask me to verify subscription or need to load the database. For some reason when removing the program it is keeping some information, even though I'm selecting yes to remove all parts of Siglos.

I do hope it is just a problem with this versions compatibility with the latest windows updates and someone sorts it soon.

Nope. Deleting all singers didn't fix the problem. I think I have tried everything I can think of besides removing registry keys etc. Must be something simple I have overlooked. It was working before.

New laptop. It was working perfectly Friday night. Only thing I can think of that I have done after that was add fillin music (which I cleared to check if it was that), and merged a couple of singers. I will try to deleted all singers to see if that helps.

Yes, I feel your pain as I have the same problem. I have also removed program and tried to reinstall with no luck. I have noticed even when I remove program and then reinstall, Siglos keeps its database.
